Mindfulness & Self Compassion for Activists

Care for Yourself. Sustain the Work. Strengthen the Collective.

Justice work can be inspiring—but it can also be exhausting, overwhelming, and heavy. Radical self-compassion isn’t indulgence—it’s resistance. Mindfulness and self-care are essential tools for staying engaged, processing grief and anger, and showing up fully for the causes you care about.

In my workshops and coaching, activists and organizers explore how to:

  • Set boundaries and stay grounded in challenging moments

  • Process grief, rage, and overwhelm without burning out

  • Recognize common humanity and nurture connection with peers

  • Reclaim joy, purpose, and presence as sources of resilience

  • Build both personal and collective capacity to sustain long-term activism

Through guided meditation, journaling, gentle movement, and shared reflection, participants leave with practical practices to care for themselves while strengthening their communities and the movements they dedicate themselves to.
