Mindfulness for Educators
Working with youth can be incredibly rewarding, but also stress inducing.
Without the tools to effectively manage challenges, there is high risk of burnout: 20% of U.S. teachers leave the profession each year.
Research shows that mindfulness and other self-care practices support teachers and administrators by improving interpersonal relationships, reducing stress and preventing burnout.
Mindfulness and Self-Care Workshops
These workshops strengthen educators’ presence, compassion, and communication—the inner resources needed to support themselves and their work, as well as help students flourish. Sessions focus on self-care or mindfulness and include guided meditations, interactive activities, discussions, and simple exercises to reduce stress, navigate challenges, and build a personal mindfulness practice.
Chair Yoga Sessions
Chair yoga is a gentle, accessible form of yoga suitable for all levels. Sessions include stretches for the hips, shoulders, neck, and spine, helping to relieve tension and promote physical relaxation and the benefits of regular yoga without special clothing or floor work.
