Mindfulness Sessions
Mindfulness is the practice of being aware of thoughts, emotions, sensations and the environment in the present moment without judgment. It allows us to live with greater clarity, wisdom and ease, especially in challenging situations. Extensive research shows that mindfulness changes the wiring and makeup of our brains. Mindfulness reduces stress, anxiety and emotional reactivity. It increases clarity in thinking, and improves memory, focus, health, relationship-satisfaction and general well-being. These sessions include guided meditations and simple exercises to incorporate into everyday life to help you be more present with yourself and others.
Compassion Sessions
Developing compassion goes beyond feeling care and concern for others - it is cultivating the strength to be present with others’ pain, the courage to take wise action and the ability to persist during challenging situations. Compassion Practices are shown to increase physical and mental health, improve social connections, decrease biases and cultivate resilience and creativity. In these sessions you learn different meditation practices and other exercises to support the interpersonal relationships in your life and help you feel more connected to yourself and others.
Self-Compassion & Self-Care Sessions
Life is stressful, and oftentimes we feel overwhelmed. While many of us spend time and energy caring for others, we often are unable or don’t know how to best care for ourselves, compromising our health and well-being. Self-compassion and self-care practices increase motivation, happiness, curiosity and conscientiousness, and decrease anxiety and depression. These sessions equip you with a variety of self-care techniques and meditations to help you maintain your sense of self, while also effectively managing life’s challenges.
